An estimated 4.9 million slaves from Africa were brought to Brazil during the period from 1501 to 1866. This is the first time that Slavery this bad happened Slavery in different country began to happen. This was a change from what happened before because there was no slavery in brazil before the portugal came since then i gotten worse.Until the early 1850s, most enslaved Africans who arrived on Brazilian shores were forced to embark at West Central African ports, especially in present-day Angola. This is similar to slavery when in 1501 to 1866 this is another example of being force to work which could be seen before in 1501 this is a continuation of slavery before
